A waldorf doll can be washed.

It is nevertheless better to only wash the skin with a washcloth and a little liquid detergent that is meant for washing wool. Gently rub in the direction of the fabric. The soap can be rinsed off under a running tab. This way the doll will dry as quick as possible.

Only wash the doll when she really needs it. Use lukewarm water with a little bit of liquid detergent meant for washing wool. The doll goes in. Gently squeeze the doll so the water and soap can reach the inside. Rinse in the same way. Then wrap the doll in a big towel en press the water out. Leave the doll to dry in a dry towel.

While washing the doll can get out off shape. This might not be a nice sight for the child. While drying you can massage the doll from time to time so she will get back into the original shape.

When the doll has dried you can colour the cheeks with a little bees wax on a peace of cotton fabric.
